The addi Click system provides 10 different sizes of addi Turbo™ tips (size 4,6,7,8,9,10,10.75,11,13,15), three different lengths of extremely pliable blue cord (24”, 32” and 40”), and one connector piece which helps to either store stitches or combine your cords. It will eventually come with other sizes of cord, extra tips, add-ons, etc. The Click tips require no tools to change; simply insert the cord deep into the tip, twist and release. The tips will remain secure until you change them, thanks to the Click’s revolutionary locking mechanism! Price is USD 149,- per set.

A lot of people complain why size 5 is not included in the set. I also use that size very often. Although I am Addi lover, I think I will wait how is the overall response first before I bought it.

Aluminum or Plastic?

There are so many crochet hooks in the market. Most of them are made of aluminum or plastic. Which one is better?

Aluminum hooks are strong, lightweight and smooth. They don't bend or snag the yarn. Aluminum hooks can also become pitted over time from being dropped or stored carelessly. A snag on the hook will cause your yarn to pull and separate as you crochet. If your hook begins to snag your yarn, but you can't see or feel any surface damage on your aluminum hook, try passing a piece of nylon stocking or another silky fabric over the end of the hook; the slightest imperfection will snag the fabric. Never try to correct the problem by sanding the aluminum hook. Discard it and get a new one.

Overall, aluminum hooks are the better choice, even though they cost a little more. You'll find that in the long run, they are by far the most economical choice between the two. Being thrifty is wonderful, but most times, you get what you pay for. Always try to use the finest materials and tools your crafting budget will allow.

Addi Lace Needle

I bought Addi Lace Needle size 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 3.5 mm, and 4.00 mm after I heard so many good review about it. Now, the problem is, I am not very good at knitting shawl. I always forgot to make YO and I don't like knitting that need concentration.

Anyway, I already used the needle and it's quite good. I don't like the brass finishing, make it look like cheap needle. I still love my Addi Turbo more.
