Japanese Craft Book

One thing I salute about Japanese craft book is that they manage to make the instruction simple and you don't have to understand Japanese character or language to understand it.

For example like these 2 items: a tote and a hat. They even give you the picture how you should cut your cloth to fully utilized it. Isn't it amazing?

Crochet for Grandma?

Who said that only grandma wears crocheted wearables? It's an in thing right now to wear crocheted wearable. Even stars also wear them nowadays. Look a this picture on the left. Don't they look fabolous wearing crocheted wearables? I bet it cost very expensive, because as far as I know, there is no machine in the world that can crochet. It's handmade!

Why I love to Crochet

Crochet is a craft that I love the most. The reason is because I can bring along crochet project with me anywhere. All I need to bring is the yarn, a crochet hook and a scissor.

Some project need you to make small pieces before you join them together to become big piece, thus it is easier for me to carry around in my handbag.

Below dress is an example. You make smaller motifs first, then you can join them together afterward.

Patient Crafter?

Normally when people found out that I do craft, they normally said that I must be a very patience person. Actually, on the contrary, I am not a very patience person. The reason why I am crafting is because I don't have any patience to wait for something. Thus, normally I always bring along whatever I project that I am doing at that time while I am waiting for something. Like when I was waiting for my turn in the doctor.

Another Craft

This is another craft that I want to try. I got the kit to make this from my brother long time ago. He got a store that sells these kind of stuff. So many design to choose. I believe I got 5 or 6 different designs. The reason I haven't started yet because I got small children. I am afraid that they pick the small parts and put them in their mouth.
